People also control what's on television. If no one's watching, it's not going to keep being aired. And viewers have complete control over what they watch. If you don't like it, don't watch it. You are extremly self-righteous about a non-issue, it's completely bizarre.

True. They need to rid the thumbs system, because we are able to "vote" for what is fact based on a general consensus. Which in some extent is cool because we are the deciders, but at the same time we could be voting out ideas much like the Earth revolving around the sun.

People choose what they want to hear and see through the ease of disconnecting from conflict by just changing the video. Youtube's great, but just because we are control what we see and hear doesn't make us enlightened. We choose to ignore what we want to ignore.
